Mashed with house pils and a dash of honey malt and fermented clean. DDH'd the f$&@ out of it with with an absurd amount of fresh roasted Brazilian DECAFFEINATED coffee beans from our friends Roast'd Coffee in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Chocolate, coffee, light sweetness, and super smooth.

Poured into a Belgian style snifter
L: 4.25. Very attractive coloration. Almost a reddish orange. Medium head retention. Ample carbonation.
S: 4.25. Heavy roastiness. Dark roast coffee. Smells acidic and bitter.
T: 4.25. Not overly acidic. Heavily roasted coffee near burnt. But there is a creamy sweetness to balance it out.
F: 3.75. Not overly heavy but a slow sipper. Medium bodied broken up by the carbonation.
O: 4.25 A well crafted Cream Ale.

Tall can, w/o canning date info.
Pours darn close to clear, medium amber and leaving ample fine lacing on the glass.
Mild coffee on the nose, and then malt, and hazelnuts.
Pleasing brew, light and clean tasting, malty, nutty and again with just a hint of milky cafe au lait.
Worth a try if you see some

A: Umber shade of dark orange. Thin sliver of head with no retention. Its darkness distracts from the clarity, but it's pretty clear.
S: Coffee aroma really overwhelms the malt of the beer. Baker's chocolate, carob, light nuttiness, sweet citrus peel.
M: Light and crisp, moderate attention helped by a lemon acidity.
T: Honey praline, nougat, and light chocolate with ultra smooth coffee roast. Some corn sweetness and red berry fruitiness. Coffee and cream ale is a natural pairing in my mind thanks to Carton; this does the dyad proud.
