Traded for this and another beer this week, as I'll drink anything from District 96. Love the snake fruit taste and feel and of course, this beer had it as it was plenty flavorful and full-bodied as it got better as it warmed up!
This had a lovely, muted golden hue to it as plenty of dense head topped it off with a few bigger bubbles working their way up to the surface. All of the lacing left behind was in the middle of my pint glass although there really weren't any visible rings that could be seen in it. Lots of kumquat and snake fruit in the nose as there were hints of stone fruit and exotic floral notes in the mix for good measure. A hint of wheat came through in the taste as this was plenty full, nicely carbonated, and oh-so-easy to enjoy as the Cashmere and Vic Secret were much more stronger than the Citra, which gave this a nice earthy and dank taste as the Citra ensured that this would have the slickness of tangerine juice.
It wasn't easy to pick out the alcohol in this although I felt just a bit of warming effect take hold of me as I finished this off, with a hint of white chocolate in the aftertaste that left me wanting more. As usual, there wasn't anything written on the bottom of the can although this was released only a week ago, as this almost felt like it came out of a tap. In collaboration with The Seed, this was another winner from District 96 that I was glad to get my hands on!
