Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, citrus, stone fruit hops, with notes of lime, passion fruit, pineapple and peach. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and resinous hops, with tropical, citrus and stone fruit notes of grapefruit, lime, pineapple, passion fruit and peach, as well as just a hint of grassy weed and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some pineapple, lime and peach lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While I thought that the QUIPA I had by these guys was phenomenal already, with only very little booze, overdone sweetness or overripe fruit notes coming through, there's absolutely none of that in this TIPA. I seriously doubt anyone tasting this blindly would be able to tell it's above 7-8% ABV. Probably the best TIPA I've ever had, just like with their QUIPA. The hops stand out quite juicy, bright, vibrant and well-defined here, with a great range of acidic tropical, zesty citrus and sweet stone fruit characteristics, as well as a just a hint of dank and resinous accents giving this a very nice edge, while finishing with a great bitterness for the style.
