Chocolate coffee roasty malty and hint of floral/herbal vanilla nose on this one! Taste follows with a mocha coffee and subdued roasty finish. I prefer my dark lagers to be a bit softer on the palate and fuller-bodied, but this is pretty tasty!

Collaboration with Alternate Ending Brewing of Aberdeen NJ fame
Poured into a Tulip Pint
L: 3.25. Near opaque translucency. Dark body. Off tan head that dissipates.
S: 4. Roasted malts. Maybe a hint of smoke. Possibly some cacao based adjuncts.
T: 4.25 Those malts steal the show. Rich notes of chocolate and caramel. After taste of dark bread and coffee,
F: 3.75. Medium to thick mouthfeel. Heavy for a lager, but not porter or stout territory.
O: 4. Nice collab. Im a big fan of black lagers and this one ticks every box. Definitely recommend a try.
