12 oz. pour at Burger Loft. It pours a dirty, pastel golden yellow with a full finger of creamy, bright white head and thick lacing with excellent retention. It's as pretty a draught pour as you'll experience. The fragrant smell features lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, vanilla cream, and soft floral hops. Its taste opens with dry, tart citrus with white wine and just a hint of red berry and stone fruit from the Mosaic hops. As it warms and breathes in the glass there is some herbal spiciness from the Pacific Jade hops and the telltale snake fruit sweetness that marks a D96 IPA. It's nicely balanced and the flavors blend beautifully. The mouth feel is luxuriously thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and the 8% ABV gives it good substance without feeling heavy. Overall, this is another excellent D96 collaboration and it paired perfectly with a Burger Loft mushroom burger.
