An interesting location. Within the same block as Last Concert and whatever Oxheart is going to be in the future. A small tap room with an L shaped bar and some tables scattered around. Friendly and cozy, and the service is really good. The owner/brewer chats it up with some customers and everyone is really friendly.
Only three beers on my visit. A blonde, Honey Hefe, and a Stout. Nothing was really impressive. Seeing the plastic fermentation barrels with really no temp control didn't make for the best impression on quality control. Everything tasted almost the same, and sugary sweet. Which is a little odd considering none of the beer styles should have anything in common. They seem under attenuated and unfinished, but what do I know? I definitely had a hard time coming up with anything other than a generic sweet profile for their beers though.
Got to love the guys that work here, and the location is pretty neat. Though the limited, and oddly similar tasting profile across styles didn't do much for me. Hopefully they can get a bit more professional, with a better identity with time. As is, pretty amateurish, to be blunt.
