Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a two finger head; strong retention with a splattering
Smell: Bready malt with a grassy element
Taste: Bready malt flavors forward with just a touch of sugar cookie; through the middle, the grassy hops add a modest bitterness; clean finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Not sure I follow the style here but I will bow to those who know the brewery better; its a nice lager, just as the label says

Medium gold, clear despite being unfiltered, pours with a large, off-white cap, retains a solid cap and some nice lacing
Pale grains, pale malts, crackers, light bread, cereal grains, lightly grassy hops, hints of fruit, minerality, light grainy sweetness, low bitterness, clean finish
On the light side of medium, crisp, moderate carbonation
I had Sovereign on tap multiple times before I ever tried Quintessential, so I am biased in my preference for this beer. It's all-around remarkably balanced and solid, delicate and tasty. I wish I could have this more often.

Shhhh - this is probably my favorite local lager (even better than Jack's Abby). I love everything about this beer from the look to its smell to its taste. Really a fantastic beer.

.5 liters served in a willibecker. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a loose, quarter inch, bright white head that slowly dissipates into a soapy cap. Delicate swaths of lacing coat the walls of the glass as the beer recedes. Nose is clean and crackery with a hint of sour mash. Taste consistent with nose - mouthfeel is pillowy and pleasant with a light, medicinal quality at the finish. Mouthfeel is fantastic - light in body with a pleasant carbonation and a refreshing, dry finish. Overall, a lovely domestic kellerbier. My only critique is that it was served a bit too cold.
