Our take on the classic German sale from Köln, is fermented warm then lagered for a clean, crisp, malty beer with subtle hints of pear.

Draft at the brewery
Decent frothy head with moderate retention, fair lacing, very clear med gold color
Nose nice cereal grain, bready almost toasty, with light corn, hint of fruit esters
Taste more cereal grain, little grain sweet pilsner like, bready, little corn, light bitterness and light herbal hop, dry finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med frothy carb
Overall pretty good kolsch, light, unflawed, still has character
