Deep, darker amber color. Clear. Modest head that settles to rim bubbles and leaves no lace.
Strong campfire smoke aroma. There’s a bit of bandaid smell but it’s not too distracting.
The taste is surprisingly smooth. While the smoke dominates, it doesn’t overwhelm. I can tease out the lightly toasted malt. The body is neutral with a higher level of carbonation. The finish features more smoke but the aftertaste while shorter brings forward some hop bitterness along with the toasted bread malt.
