Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a glass.
Brown colored body. Brown film of head disappears quickly. No lacing.
Aroma of sweet peanut butter and chocolate.
Taste follows the nose with a very sweet flavor combination of peanut butter and chocolate. Slight roasted bitterness joins in late. Sweetness lingers in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Combination of smooth and chalky. Coats the mouth with sweetness. Higher ABV% is hidden. Supportive carbonation.
Too sweet to drink more than a few ounces. A little artificial overall.

Had this on draft at the brewery. Not a huge fan of this one. It smelled really nice: chocolate and peanut butter and toasted bread. The chocolate flavors were more chocolate powder than chocolate bar: bitter and astringent. The peanut butter flavor tasted manufactured and not much like real peanut butter. I have had some pretty good chocolate and peanut butter beers but this one was average. I had one and that was enough. Certainly couldn't drink more than two of these puppies.
