First I need to say I have known the main proprietor of this establishment for many years, but I would love it anyway!
This place has the same happy, friendly vibe of a German beer garden and a local "beer joint". It also is,serving as a "beer lab" where the brewery partners can brew and serve their recipes. The resulting brewery/pub/beer garden serves very fresh and unique beers. When a new beer is ready, the brewery put the sign (Zoigl) out, both physical and virtual, to come and get some.
When it opened this past January, they served a peated quad that was as good as any Belgian quad variety I have had. The brewery has also developed a blonde brewed with elderberries that has a deep maroon color and is delicious. This should be a great success in Aggieland!
They sometimes have food and food truck, but here are a variety of great restaurants for take out within walking distance.
It is kid and dog friendly and a great time. I have been enjoying it as much as possible. It is a great addition to the local beer culture. It is generally open Friday & Saturday afternoon/evenings. I highly recommend it!
