Not my first of these from Rorschach, but the espresso one was a slight disappointment.
So let's see.
Pours black and without any head whatsoever. Disappointing, as I love the colour of a nice stout head. Regardless. The nose is decent. The taste points to the lack of head. Very little carbonation with the bourbon more at the forefront than it's usually the case. A bit more bitter as well. It is the feel of the after taste that rescues this for me. Really nice lingering chocolate and coffee, with a bit of vanilla.
Had better in this style, but this is nice, albeit expensive for the reward.
