This is the 2019 version -- aged for a year in steel and four months in oak. Pours a dark red -- garnet or, appropriately, currant. Head dissipates within a few seconds. Very fruit-forward aroma -- currants, of course. The first swallow is very fruity, smooth, and dry. Subsequent sips pick up the tartness and hints of oak and leave your mouth a touch dry. (Make sure this one is not too cold when you drink it or you'll miss the oak at first, like I did.) The bottle has a bit of sediment, so second pours are hazier. Overall, a real treat.
Note: the style listed on this entry isn't correct. It's not a saison, but rather a fruit sour.
