As is the case with the beer in this series, it tastes nothing like the name suggests. And luckily I never had a cake that tasted anything like this.
The pour is a let down, as there is barely any carbonation here. The nose is sweet and suggests vanilla and bourbon (alas, there is none of the latter). The feel is silky smooth, but screams for carbonation. The taste is fake sweetness of who knows what. It tastes like nothing I want to eat, ever. Or drink. The finish is only slightly better. Just a "frustrating mess", to use a Jimi Hendrix term.
