One of the many from the series, this pours very dark brown with a tiny head forming a burnt brown ring quite quickly. The nose is of strong chocolate, then the coffee makes its appearance known. With a bit more time, gentle vanilla and burnt sugar appears.
The feel is silky smooth and the taste is sweet. The caramel (or burnt sugar as we called it in my childhood) is obviously the king here, but not nauseatingly so.
The whole shebang is too sweet, obviously, but this is one of the better ones of the slew of bad stouts Rorschach produces (and that I keep trying regardless).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
