One of the most often disappointing breweries I keep going back to again and again. Their IPAs are fine, but it's their stouts that miss the mark 90% of the time. And they make a lot of stouts: regular, flavoured or BBA.
It pours as it should, but no head or ring. The nose is decent, a bit too sweet. Too much of the notes of figs. Very little carbonation which is always a bit disappointing. It is way too sweet for no good reason. The bourbon is actually good here. Strong, boozy after taste in a good way.
All in all, it's one of their less disappointing fares.
