I tried this beer at the brewery with both my wife's brothers as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that left some lace. The scent had faint grain and yeast notes mixed with hints of tropical fruit and pine goodness. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain malt base and bitter citrus and pine hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

From the tall bot can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid little IPA pours a cloudy amber tinged yellow, with a nice
head of white foam that dissipates to a thick ring, thick layer, and
sports some nice lacing. Nose of mango, lemon zest, and pine hops
with honey sweet malts and a touch of breaded malts. Flavors follow
with exception of honey and caramel sweet malts, pine, pineapple, mango,
and lemon zest. Nice balance. Solid mouth feel; medium body, medium
light carbonation, and a bitter tropical hop, subtly sweet, and subtly
dry finish.
Overall, a great session IPA.
Cheers

16 ounce can purchased earlier today at the taproom. No canning date on it, but label says to drink fresh within 2 weeks of purchase. Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a dark gold/amber color with not quite an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like citrus/lemon peel, tropical fruit and bready malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's the addition of some orange and herbal hop flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick, smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think this is a good overall brew, not my first time having this but it's nice seeing it in cans now. One of the core brews at Combustion, it's always worth trying!
