I tried this beer at the brewery with both my wife's brothers as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had faint grain and yeast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain malt base and subtle bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

32 ounce crowler, filled 3/20/2020 at the brewery, best by date of 3/22 written on the label. Served in a Combustion Mug Club glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like grainy/bready malt and some light earthy hops. Taste is the same as the aroma, but to me the bready/graininess stands out with a sweet finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's refreshing and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I usually don't drink this when I'm at Combustion because I normally drink their seasonals more. Wanderlust is one of their core brews which is always there so I tend to forget about it. But going through this crowler just reminds me that I need to drink it more often. Would be a great choice on a hot day but it's really a good year round brew, certainly worth a try if you ever stop by the taproom!
