32 ounce crowler, filled yesterday (7/1) with a best by date of 7/3 written on it. Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a mostly clear golden/amber color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention is decent, and there's a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like tropical fruit/passionfruit, stone fruit, grassiness and bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some pine and grapefruit noticeable too. There's also a nice lingering bitter finish. With all that being said, the tropical fruitiness is what this brew is all about. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think this is a good enjoyable session IPA, an enjoyable brew that's perfect for a hotter summer day! $8 a crowler.
