Description: Thin, white head atop a golden brew that's somewhat hazy. Not NEIPA hazy, not really clear either. Smell is citrus, pine, orange and dank with a more forceful bouquet than might be expected. The taste is good but somewhat mellower than the smell and is more bitter than sweet or piney. Strong grapefruit notes on the finish. Fell is smooth with light carbonation and a more "meaty" feel than normal IPAs.
Overall: 4 (This beer is good and I may or may not drink it again) "Session IPA" usually isn't a beer style that engenders a lot of excitement, at least from me, but this beer is pretty good for the style. It's smooth, easy drinking and more flavorful than expected; you could certainly find worse session IPAs.
