Milk Stout with espresso beans. Strong black coffee balanced with the sweetness of the milk stout.

32 ounce crowler, filled yesterday at the brewery, best by date of 12/9 written on the label. Served in a Combustion pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, chocolate, coffee/espresso and a bit of cream. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some burnt/charred flavor too. I think the roasty coffee/espresso flavor is stronger compared to the others (but not overpowering), and it also has a lingering bittersweet finish. Does seem to get sweeter as the beer warms up more. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a little creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think this is pretty good, definitely recommended to stout lovers and people who like coffee/espresso brews!
