25.4 ounce crowler, filled earlier today at the brewery with a best by date of 5/17 written on the label. Combustion calls this a Session Red IPA. Served in a Combustion Mug Club glass, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/amber color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around a while. Small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like grapefruit, citrus peel, and bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some floral hop and caramel flavors noticeable too. I think the citrus flavors stand out here although no one flavor overpowers the others. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think it's a good enjoyable brew, certainly worth trying if you're ever at the taproom!
