32 ounce crowler, filled today at the taproom, best by date of 10/24 written on the label. Served in a Combustion Mug Club glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stayed around for a really long time. There's also a lot of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and a bit of cherry. Taste is similar to the aroma, but the cherry really stands out here. There's also some vanilla flavor noticeable too, but this brew is all about the cherry (both sweet and tart). Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth, a bit creamy and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, it's definitely worth trying but recommended more to people who like cherries!
