32 ounce crowler, filled today at the taproom, best by date of 10/24 written on the label. Served in a Combustion Mug Club glass, the beer pours a somewhat hazy dark golden/orange color with aobut an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like pumpkin spices (nutmeg, clove, ginger, cinnamon) along with some bready malt. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some vanilla flavor too. All the flavors mesh well, the spices are noticeable but not overpowering at all. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and goes down easy with a good amount of carbonation. I think this is a good overall pumpkin ale. It's not my first time drinking Siamese Dream, but it's my first time giving it a proper review. Certainly worth trying if you ever stop at Combustion.
