Orca Brau

Pours a black coloration with an amber tint and a small, creamy head. Smell is dominated by mint, with hints of chocolate and lactose. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by mint and chocolate, with lighter notes of lactose and bourbon. Finishes with a light bitterness and very mild tartness. Thin mouthfeel with a relatively rich body and low carbonation.

This is basically After Eight mints in a bottle and it pulls that off very nicely if you like that sort of thing. It's just a shame that there is so little barrel character. There is such a subtle, light bourbon note to this that I'm not entirely sure if I'm just imagining it. Still, a pretty nice, minty Milk Stout.
