Pours a deep golden amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smell is quite sweet, with some biscuity, caramel malt and lighter notes of citrus and tropical fruit: orange, mango, papaya. Taste is quite sweet and somewhat floral, with some biscuity and slightly caramelly malt and heavier tropical and citrus hops: mango, papaya, orange, as well as just a hint of a certain herbal/piny note. Finishes bittersweet, with a light bitterness and some tropical notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This feels somewhat unbalanced, being too sweet and floral, and with the tropical notes struggling to keep up. Surprisingly thin body/mouthfeel for the ABV as well, no booze though, at least. It's all right, but while Orca Brau make great sours, I've never had an IPA by them that I really loved.
