Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit and grapefruit. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly bitter and resinous hops, with tropical and citrus note of passion fruit and grapefruit, with just a hint of pine. Finsihes with a light/medium bitterness and some passion fruit and grapefruit lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This one came as a really pleasant surprise to me, as I haven't had anything from Orca in a while and always prefered their sours over their IPAs in the past. Howver, this makes for a really pleasant and well-done NEIPA that can easily compete with those German breweries that specialize in the style, with some quite vibrant and juicy hops and sweet tropical and zesty citrus notes, as well as a good mouthfeel.
