Pours an opaque, dark orange c6oloration with a small, fizzy, quickly fading head. Smells of doughy malt and apricot, with hints of sea buckthorn as well. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of sweet apricot and lighter, tart and bitter, sea buckthorn, as well as just a hint of sea salt. Finishes with a medium tartness and some apricot and sea buckthorn lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Another Fruited Kettle Sour masquerading as a Gose, but a very nice one. While I'm sure the tart and bitter sea buckthorn won't be for everyone, it actually works suprisingly well with the sweet apricot that slightly dominates the flavor profile here, with a good tartness and hints of sea salt in the finish. Surprisingly full, almost thick mouthfeel as well for a "Gose". Not quite Smoothie Sour territory and definitely not to style, but pleasant nonetheless.
