Pitch black with a brownish, small, but lasting head. Roasty aroma with dark chocolate and hints of alcohol.
The taste is medium sweet with notes of bitter coffee, dark chocolate and some charcoal smoke in the background. Sticky mouthfeel, but the carbonation could be tamed down a little bit.
Finish itself is long lasting, slightly dry and mostly bitter. A very promising start for Romanian imperial stouts.

Very dark brown color with a brown head, aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and bourbon, medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness, full body, soft carbonation, easy to drink, excellent.

Really dark-brown, opaque colour, with a dense, oily body. It form a nice, thick head when poured at once in the glass.
Smells like aged bourbon; you can also sense the alcohol.
The taste is dominated in the beginning by the coffee and roasted malt, with a pleasant sweetness in the back. A bitter palate note remains afterwards. The bourbon feel is present mostly in the first tasting part, when the alcohol evaporates.
The aftertaste is very dry and bitter and not long-lasting - this is the point which could be improved.
This review is based on the freshly launched batch. I'm curious to see if it develops after some time.
A really good effort after this collaboration and, I think, the first Russian Imp. Stout in Romania.
