Had it on tap in the brewery.
Motor-oil dark, tan head.
Maple syrup dominates the smell, no complaints there; a little chocolate.
Maple syrup also takes the lead in regards to taste, followed by mellow, low-bitterness coffee notes. Reminds me of cold brew. Dark cocoa taste lingers in the end. Mouth feel is surprisingly light, doesn't quite coat the palate despite the abv, compared tk some heavier imperial stouts (looking at you, Even More Jesus).
Overall, fantastic imperial stout!

Poured from 375mL bottle into a tuliped goblet. This bottle says 12% ABV.
Appearance: totally black with a thick finger of creamy brown foam; it's quite attractive indeed!
Smell: sweet malt with some chocolate notes; the aroma of chilis really comes through, though. A nicely complex stout.
Taste: chocolatey and malty, with a bit of vegetal hop character and a good, rich malt profile. The chilis come through quite well, as in the aroma, but are in no way overwhelming. Nicely balanced; a good beer!
Mouthfeel: rich body with a big, well-integrated carbonation and a buttery smooth creaminess. It's just plain outstanding. Kudos!
Overall: this is a darn good Mexican-chocolate-type beer. Very well done indeed.
