a rather clean session saison belgian type with a nice citrusy summery hop finish. from a yeast standpoint, this one is far less interesting than a lot of the others in here, cleaner, a belgian ester complexion, less of the brett and funk, but still a little rustic and not canned or anything, just unique to a much lesser degree. its efficient yeast though at the very least, as this is pleasingly dry, even for the style, its almost lager crisp in the finish which i like a lot with the hops that come in at the end and the lower alcohol, this really is nice in warm weather. wheat and pils malt in the mash i would think, dry cereals, cracker crumbs, white bread, simple but right for the beer. the hops are new school to me, light vegetal spiciness but much more orange and lemon than anything else, soft though, a nice way for this beer to finish fresh and light. nice carbonation, interesting medium body, not thin at all, and incredibly refreshing even when it warms up a little bit. overall quality here is very high, but it was their more wild saisons i liked the most in here!
