Its a damn good English pale ale - malty with a mild earthy bitterness. True to style and worth drinking. Put this on cask and this would be an absolute killer English Pale Ale. This beer deserves its own due on its own merits.

a tidy and straightforward english pale ale, but the clean beers are not what impressed me most in here. its the wild stuff that really stood out, but i was impressed that they covered so much ground style-wise and hit the mark every time. this is simple beer, an english pale malt base, light crystal richness, fermented near dry, bready old world english ale yeast that tastes super fresh, and a delicate light hopping to finish, softly bitter with traces of pine and juniper, all very subtle and drinkable as a whole, balanced across all the elements, and cleaner and more easygoing than a lot of these are. with the haze craze we have really forgotten the english pale, which i think is a tremendous shame. its nice to see some of these awesome breweries keep the style alive. this is expertly made, not what i want to necessarily drink all the time, but its easy to appreciate on this good, and it drinks easy. we had a great time in this place, they make a ton of interesting and technically sound beers!
