Got in a BIF from FBarber. 500 ml bottle into tulip glass, Blend #3, Summer 2019. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a small fluffy off white head with good retention. Thin lace cap, spotty lacing, and streaming carbonation. Aromas of tart/sour lemon, lime, white grape/wine, green apple, oak, vanilla, brett/lacto/musty funk, light leather/peppery spice, cedar, hay, grass, cracker, bread. Taste follows with the lemon, lime, white grape/wine, green apple, oak, brett/lacto/musty funk, leather/peppery spice, cedar, hay, grass, cracker, bread. Medium tartness and light sour/spicy/herbal bitterness on the finish. Light body, medium-high carb, crisp/clean/refreshing finish. Moderate lacto mouthfeel, with light grains, lingering tannins/spice drying. Mildly puckering. No warmth of 4%. The Brett and Lacto definitely well developed now, lots of barnyard, but the sourness kept in check with a rather sharp drying finish on tannins and acidity. All around awesome wild/sour farmhouse style.

Crystal clear gold with no head. Oak, flowers, lemon, pear, wild belgian yeast, considerable brett, slight fresh soil and funk. All is very bright, light, and dry. Taste is not as complex, starting wet with lager like yeast, before opening into the wet wood, flowers, pear and brett. Thin, somewhat watery for a brief second, slightly acidic and goes from wet to almost dry in the quick moving sip. Not my favorite by WR
