Revision Brewing Company

Stopped in for a night cap after getting into town late Friday night before the air races. Unsurprisingly the taproom space reminds me of Knee Deep Brewing's spot. Warehouse space with big murals on the wall, plenty of seating and games to keep you entertained, all within view of the brewing equipment. They also have a nice wooden bar if you want that kinda feel. Bartender was fantastic; super chill, more than happy to help you pick the right beer for you. The board had a pretty solid variety, but definitely leaned hop heavy. Unfortunately by the time we got there they had tapped out of a couple of things I was hoping to get a chance to try, but still had a great time. Been a fan of their beers basically since they opened so I'm glad I got a chance to check out their digs.

Located on a corner lot, just a couple blocks south of I-80. Has its own parking lot. Stopped in to get some beer to go, and noticed stand up coolers with cold beer. A staff member was a great help in picking out a few beers to get a better idea of the beers made here. Mostly IPAs but was able to get three barrel aged stouts.

 

 

 

 

Haven't had a bad beer from them yet, So on a trip to Reno had to stop. Besides the fact that they have some of the best new IPA's around. It's the best game room I've ever seen at a brewery. Pool, Air Hockey, Corn hole, Jumbo Jengo, Jumbo Tic Tac Toe, and board games forever. Will revisit for sure

Great IPA house

had an amazing experience here, what an insane list of ipa types. i have heard tales of places like other half having north of 20 ipa types on tap all at once, but this really took me by surprise. the beer list was split up pretty evenly between hazy east coast types and more traditional west coast types, but it was almost all hoppy beer, really pretty cool, they have certainly found their niche here! the space at first is sort of just like any other thrown together taproom, a beer list on a television, some sports on, picnic tables, merch, concrete floors, unremarkable really, but it opens up here into a cool back area where the beer is actually made, they have games and a beer hall vibe, very cool back there, and busy for a week night near closing time! the beers i had were all incredible, three hazy ones and a clear double ipa, amazing dry hop character, cleanness, and complexity to all of them, incredibly well refined, and my only regret was not having more time to try them all. i couldnt believe the overall quality of the beer, and how unique they are from each other, not samey at all for having so many. lord lupulin was my favorite, but i liked them all a whole lot. the gal behind the bar was surprisingly knowledgeable too and a joy to chat with. i know there is some cool beer going on in the area right now, but these guys have to be at the top of the list, the beer was simply incredible! i hope to make it back here. if you are around reno at all, make a point to get in here!

edit: not quite as epic a selection, nor as good of service the second time through. still, some of the coolest beers in the state i have to imagine, i was floored by the coconut pie face and the hoppy stuff was good as ever. seems like the back area is a little more grown into now, a comfortable and relaxed space for beer drinking! perhaps a little more expensive than i remember it being too, but they have really developed quite the reputation over the years, some of that is earned. i have a lot of love for the beer they make here, and it was cool to get to visit again!

 

Arrived Sunday afternoon around 2 to find several folks enjoying their fine adult beverages. No lines ,no wait ,football on tv and two knowledgable beer tenders taking care of business. Flights of 4 -5oz pours were around $7.50 with stouts being a bit more.No food there, so a call to a local pizza joint had a pie delivered in 1/2 hour. Stayed almost 4 hours ,drank 12 different beers.Purchased a couple of bottles of stout and several 4 paks of RAF to go. Mighty fine all around.
