A - Pours out completely opaque, with reddish brown highlights, light tan head, short and quick to fade, some minimal lacing.

S - Strong chocolate and vanilla, coffee and mild grassy notes.

T - Coffee is more forward on the flavor, with a malty chocolate undercurrent and molasses bread notes, and a slightly bitter, somewhat acidic finish.

M - Moderate weight, decent carbonation given that it was a crowler with some age, and a fairly clean finish.

O - A well-built, tasty porter that delivers what I want. Not particularly deeper or nuanced, but tasty nevertheless.

From a 16oz can canned on 12/11/23

This beer pours pitch black with no light shining through when I hold it to a light. The head is a thick 2 finger brown head. Frothy and fluffy looking with smaller bubbles. Great head retention overall, and there's some great lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is a beautiful and rich coffee aroma. Not much more than that, but it is expected.
Taste - This is a coffee beer, and the flavor doesn't disappoint. Smooth and rich coffee flavor, but it is backed up by a creamy flavor on the backside, along with some vanilla. Slight hint of bitterness and a faint hint of chocolate also come into play.
Smooth and creamy feeling. Nice full body.
Tasty beer overall, and I'm glad I bought this one.

16oz can from Dabbler Depot. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy rings on the glass. It smelled of coffee, maple, vanilla and toffee. Sweet chocolate, maple and toffee start with a coffee bitterness. Kind low on the coffee taste but still good.

Pours a dark brown color with a mocha head . Smell has roasted malts ,chocolate ,maple and vanilla . Taste is maple forward followed by nice roasted coffee ,cocoa and vanilla . Mouth feel is maple forward has a smooth feel but the maple overpowers the coffee and base porter.

A decent beer. Coffee taste is not particularly strong. And for whatever reason the smell/taste of maple syrup comes thru really strong which is really off-putting for a "coffee porter". Glad I tried it, if I'm at the brewery I'll definitely grab another one, but I don't plan to buy cans of this stuff again.
