16oz can courtesy of Victory_Sabre1973. No obvious canning date. A "chocolate milk stout", at 4.3% abv, this could be the least boozy stout I have ever had.
Poured into a Budge Bros. (RIP) shaker pint glass, this.was a very dark brown color, with a hal-finger of mocha colored head that dropped very fast, but never entirely died away. Lace was short-lived and spotty.
If allowed to warm up a bit the nose is roasty and mildly sweet.
The taste is similar to the nose. It's mildly reminiscent of coffee and cocoa, but isn't as boldly sweet as what I'd expect from something labeled as a chocolate stout. There's also a slightly milky aspect that suggests a bit of lacto, although there's nothing on the label suggesting it was used, and a slightly mineralish tanginess.
Fairly light bodied, with a modestly creamy mouthfeel.
I would describe this as a pleasant, low-impact stout that would be quite sessionable but not particularly memorable should you encounter it in the wild.

This beer pours a rich black with a decent but quickly dissipating dark head. The aroma features milk and dark chocolate, vanilla, light coffee, acidic malt, and toffee. The flavor is similar, with notes of milk chocolate, vanilla, and just a hint of roast throughout, with a medium sweet finish. The mouthfeel is quite light with some foamy carbonation. Overall a pretty nice milk stout - maybe a touch thin in body, but perfectly pleasant in flavor.

Pours a very dark brown color. The head is tan, 2 finger, frothy, and decent retention. No lacing on the glass.
There's very little to the nose. Slight chocolate, but not much else.
Taste - Well, I do get some chocolate, and almost a hint of coffee. Slight bitter flavor to it. Slight milk flavor.
The body is lighter bodied.
It's an ok beer. Nothing wrong with it, but maybe it could have a bit more flavor.
