Copenhagen 8/2 2023. 50 cl heavy glass bottle from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. VonSeitz usual design with their intricate logo on a grey background.
Pours opaque murky amber with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears after 10 seconds leaving a foamless substance behind. No lacing.
Aroma ia fairly intense with an astringent tart, sour scent with a light funky touch. Not much redeeming sweetness. Unripe gooseberries, green apples with a bit of vinegar.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness soon overpowered by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and acerbic. Lingers for a while. Finish is bone-dry.
A Golden but unforgiving moment in time.

Not versed on this style but it’s less of the balsamic vinegar taste than other Flanders or lambics I’ve tried .. some slight fruit sourness but not bad .. I expected more funk being a wild farmhouse ale but it didn’t have much of that going on .. no off flavors and very drinkable .
