Very nice facility, but the beer itself is slightly underwhelming. A coworker recommended it saying "they have the best sours I have ever had" making me think that they specialized in barrel-aged sours (especially given the name). The "sours" that they have now are simply fruit-spiked Berliner Wiesse brews. I was pretty disappointed but if you like BerlinerW's that taste like sheer fruit juice, this is your place. The stouts are solid beers, still not my cup of tea however.
The selection is mostly their base Berliner Vice, with 5 or 6 different fruit variations, 1 or 2 IPA's, their base stout, and 2 variations on the stout.
It is my understanding that they are indeed barrel-aging some beers right now, but they will not be available to the public, only their "club" members will have access.

Decent spot. I know a lot of people who love this brewery.

Vibe is pretty normal for a taproom, loud music and sports on TV. The decor is a mixture of modern, warehouse and barrels/wood. Giant barrel in the middle of the room with tables in it. Everything served in proper glassware and no issues with cleanliness. Service is attentive and helpful. Overall selection is solid, some IPAs, some stouts and several wilds. Not a lot outside those styles.

New brewery up in San Marcos, the place is huge! Lots of seating, TV's, and of course room for barrels. As for the brews, the IPA's are so far more on the west coast side and well executed. There were four fruited Berliners that we amazing, like Answer level fruity goodness. Oh and they crowler....everything! I would bet this place is going to blow up, and its very well deserved!

Fantastic new brewery in San Marcos. Started by Dr. Bill from Stone Brewing, I have high hopes that this place will use its relationships and experience to create some world class offerings. Attended their soft opening, which seemed to catch their employees off guard a bit. Everyone seemed a little flustered, but they were all very nice about it. The menu was slim, with no barrel offerings, but again, it just opened. The environment was impressive, with a lot of wood accents and seating. You basically feel like you're sitting in a giant barrel.
