Small bar and indoor seating. Large outdoor area. Friendly staff with a good selection, including a few styles not normally found (rice lager, sahti). Didn't eat but Stiffs had a pretty good lunch crowd for a weekday afternoon.

Vibe was excellent. Very nice, helpful, vibrant staff. Exterior was brick with overgrown ivy. Entire interior was wood paneled. Custom wood burnings and bottle cap artwork as well as ceramic drink ware hung through out; all for sale. Music was low enough to enjoy and still talk and enjoy your company. Beer menu was expansive and I enjoyed the two beers I had well enough to try them again. Food was a highlight. We could tell the ingredients were fresh. Would definitely return here.

Visited here over the weekend. Only brewery in Boyne City, which is where we were staying, so I definitely wanted to check it out. They had a wide selection of beers across different styles, which included beers they brewed as well as guest taps. I had a few different beers by them: Horton Bay Hef (Hefeweizen), Naughty Baker (APA), and Chocolate Covered Boyne (Stout w/chocolate). None of them really stood out, with the Hef probably being my favorite.
The best part to me (and my kids) was probably the free popcorn they offer. We took a few rounds of that. The food was solid bar type food, and the kids menu was decent. I believe they gave crayons to the kids to color with, and each of the tables had a "Where's Waldo" picture amongst hundreds of bottle caps to find - my kids loved looking for it on our table, as well as other empty tables.
I would visit again if staying in BC again, but wouldn't make it a point to go visit if I weren't in the area for a few days.

I swore I reviewed this place, but I couldn't find my entry so here's a new one. This place is just ok, I understand they are new and still working out the kinks, but it left some things to be desired. The layout isn't the best, it's a little confusing and cramped. The beer was just average at best, all style seemed to be just ok and every single one was under carbonated. The food was pretty good and I liked everything I ordered, the service was also good. I like that they had beers that just weren't there's. I'll be giving this place another chance, but I hope it changes for the better.
