This is a mixture of cola and altbier, a common mix in Germany also called Diesel, referring to it's color. I bought it by mistake, did not look at the label.

Appearance is a clear, ruby red beer with a thin head, so far OK.

Smell is what it is, a mix between cola and altbier. What smell does cola have? Caramel, sweet? The altbier has a hard time to fight the cola.

Taste, mhh yes coke and beer, with the coke being more upfront, with a sweet and caramellic coke taste. Absolutely no bitter, but I can imagine this to be quite nice at a hot summerday. The fact that it has nothing to do with beer is a no-brainer.
