50cl bottle poured into seidel
BBE 28 Sept 2011
A- 3 finger creamy head sitting atop a golden body with excellent clarity. Head retention and lacing are both very good.
S- Slight peppery nose, hint of pils malt and toasted malts.
T- Some DMS from the pils malt, toasted malts and peppery quality come through next with a subtle hop bite in the finish lingering.
M- Medium body and carbonation, lager clean, smooth.
D- Has all the hallmark qualities of a quality maibock in the nose/palate. Looks the part. Being picky perhaps the finish is not dry enough for the style. Nevertheless a quality malty lager with an excellent smoothness for the abv.

I bought this beer in Germany three weeks ago. Nice bottle with a pop open cap. Best before september 2011.
Poured in my Struise glass the beer looks ok. Lightyellow colour and hald a finger head. Light carbonation.
Taste is light sweet with a slight bitter aftertaste. Fresh one!
