Had this on cask at Nerax North. Had a full pint and took notes. In the spirit of full disclosure, I think there is little better than a cask conditioned English Milk Stout.
Looks black, thick, with a decent head. Not to "foamy" and much more airy. Smells of milk chocolate and a little caramelized sugar. Tiny bit of roasted coffee present, but it is definitely more in the background rather than a dominating aroma.
Tastes like it should. Lots of lactose sweetness without going overboard. Chocolate-y. Incredibly smooth and just a little chewy. One of the best milk stouts I've had.
