Very dark porter with a complex mocha coffee flavour - the perfect antidote to pale midsummer ales.

Dug it. A bit ugly, but thaats alwayss nice once in a while. Smoky, ashy roastyness, quite dry, with a long (quite long actually), bitter, burnt, tarry finish, i liked the uglyness of it. The bitter roastyness limgered around on the tongue for a while, which i liked. (Cask- ChelmsfordBF 03')
