This beer is not retired. Or maybe it has been reintroduced.
Made in Chaam, Netherlands, close to the Belgium border.
33 cl bottle, 5,5% abv, Water, Wheat, Pils- Cara and Münich malt, Hallertau Mittelfrüh hop and yeast.
Poured in a beaker (first) and in a high tulip glass (second), yellow-white hazy beer, 3 finger head, low carbonation.
(Maybe the first one was a bit off, do not think was only the glass. although I have poured my second one in a recommended high tulip glass, highly carbonated, way more foam and obvious presence of way more yeast).
Sour dough smell yeasty, bready with hints of lemon.
Fresh sour taste with bitter and sour hoppiness in the after taste.
(second one was clearly more yeasted, almost like a wild geuze yeast, and had even a better smell and taste.)
A very refreshing Weissen, almost a white bear Belgian style, but still purely brewed without herbal additions..
Would probably chill it a bit more than the adviced 6 degrees celsius.
The difference in quality in between the bottles I had worries me a bit.
Could drink the second one all day. first one more chilled on summer days.
