A raspberry witbier.
Appearance - Pours a raspberry pink with three fingers of bubbly frothy off-white head.
Smell - raspberry, coriander, pepper, grainy malts, hint of lime, earthy and floral hops. and earthy yeast.
Taste - raspberry, coriander, pepper, hint of lime, and earthy and floral hops upfront. The grainy malts come through next and the earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry with the raspberry, coriander, and hops lingering.
Overall - A very sessionable witbier that delivers on the raspberry front. However, all the other traditional elements are quite mild but maybe that's what they were going for. A nice find here in Cowtown.
