Drank also in Nags Head, a pub in London, but in May 2010. What a coincidence!
On the nose, it is the floral notes that seem to dominate, with the presence of a traditional English hops, but still a little weak. The mouth is slightly acidic, slightly spicy finish with a bitter but just while convincing. Color is amber. Bodies still very light, easy to drink with flavor but certainly not really convincing.

On cask on April 25, 2009, at The Nags Head, Covent Gardens, London, UK:
A: The beer appeared a dark golden in color with a creamy white-ish head that was not really well retained, but I think that is to be expected from cask ales.
S: The aroma was really good, a nice dominate hop aroma with hints of some citrus, floral and spices. Well rounded and balanced.
T: The taste is well balanced, as any good English Bitter should be...it had a nice hoppy taste that was balanced well with the malt. Also the hint of citrus and floral was noted, but very much in the background.
M/D: The beer had a medium body to it, smooth, dry and very easy to drink. This is a very session-able beer that felt slightly under-carbonated. Overall, a good beer and one that I will try to enjoy again if I ever happen upon it.

Tasted by a half-pint at the Spice of Life, a McMullens house nr. Soho, London. Served by a handpump w/o a sparkler. The name of this ale is quite confusing, as if it was the only cask ale produced by this brewery?
A: dark golden to tawny in colour, a quite creamy off-white head sustains on top of a rather settled body giving hints of microscopic fizziness
S: the floral as well as orangey English hops dominate the nose, quite refreshing; showing lots of citrussy hops, lightly spicy and tangy zests, while a light touch of peach-blossom sustains at the fringe. Pretty hoppy, in an understated way.
T: dryish and spicy bitter hops come along with the simultaneous biscuity aroma from Marris Otter malts, followed by a really chewy/tangy and citric hoppy finish. Overall the hops are rather sharp and bringing down the score a bit by causing a somewhat imbalance, but that might be the byproduct of using whole hops, as implied on the pumpclip?
M&D: smooth on the palate, with slightly less fizziness than ideal, but this is made up for by the zingy bitter undernote. This is a pretty solid (albeit a bit green in hoppyness), session bitter/pale ale with the Full Monty of a traditional English pint to offer.
