Appearance:
Dark gold, hazy. Fast rising bubbles. Thick rocky head. Good head retention. Leaves a very good lacing behind.
Aroma:
Bright, citrusy, resinous, slight onion. Sweet bready malts, a little caramel.
Taste/Finish/Body:
Moderate hop bitterness, mostly citrus, resinous, some onion, slight minty. Solid malt backbone, bready, some candy-like caramel. Hint of fruity ester, peaches. Finish is bitter-crisp, lingers very well. Medium bodied, sticky, medium carbonation, highly drinkable.
Overall:
It's a well made American IPA. I like it a lot!

A light straw color, minimal carbonation and thin head. A barely noticeable hop aroma. First taste I get butter. Some hop flavor and it’s really good and it stays around waiting for your next gulp. Sipping lends itself to that buttery taste I’m not sure I like. Mouthfeel is fair with a slight bite. Overall a fair IPA but I’d go with the Community Mosaic, which is anything but fair.
