Bomber bottle, purchased at Great South Bay Brewery, Bay Shore NY
Pours darkest shades of brown, moderate mocha cap, leaves just a brief trail of fine lace.
Moderate chocolate and a whiff of chilis on the nose.
LIght on the palate, more dark chocolate notes and again some chili.Chili is def on the muted side...I get a wee bit of it on the palate as well as a fairly tame warming sensation in the back of the mouth.....kind of a beginner chili beer/ sessioner stout.....Would work well with some spiced up Mexican chow..or it would work to marinade a pork tenderloin in for a few days.,,.nothing amazing, but better then decent

Pours a deep deep brown color with a toasted khaki creamy head that settled into a light ring.
The aroma is toasted Pumpernickel, scorched caramel and bakers chocolate. Fairly simple and not overpowering but nice.
The taste is of charred wood and bitter chocolate. A bit dusty. Deep caramel and lactose sweetness. Light chili pepper in the finish. Mostly heat and not veggie. Not much depth.
The feel is thin for a stout but at 4% ABV that is understandable. Semi special soft carbonation and a dry ashy finish and light chili heat.
For a low ABV brew there is some good flavors and the right amount of heat. Added props for the low ABV.
