Stopped in for a few pints on a winter Saturday night, the place was very busy but accommodated everyone pretty well. In the summer when the patio is open, it's easier to spread out. The vibe is nice, it's an old factory converted to a brewery with a decent number of beers on tap of varying styles and has a Roseland's pizza kitchen in the back corner. The quality of the beer and pizza is excellent, Roselands is one of those hidden CT pizza gems and to have a satellite in the taproom is awesome. The service is good, they have a good system that looks daunting when it's crowded but it flows well with a single point to order beers if you're not seated at the bar. Great selection of beers, something for everyone especially if you're not a hop head.

Built in an a refurbished industrial building and they've used that to their advantage by incorporating old machine parts into the decor.
They're best known for their hoppy beers and they do a nice job with those.
Wasn't busy when I was there. Bartenders were running around like it was really busy - not really accomplishing anything and certainly not taking care of customers.
Had a couple non-hoppy beers on tap, but this is mostly a place to go for IPAs and DIPAs.

This joint was jumpin'. Big facility and grounds. Old factory conversion with large rectangular racetrack bar and many tables and counter space around the perimeter. There were at least 4 food trucks and live music the day I was there. Plenty of outdoor seating and lawn games. Ten beers on tap; the ones I had were very nice. Service was excellent even though very crowded. Very cool place.

They just opened in 2017. www.BadSons.com Nicely renovated factory setting. Outside has a fire pit, games, lots of seating. Conn Ale has an excellent, light flavor (cascade hops). BadBillyBrown is a brown ale: slightly sweet malt taste with a hint of citra to lighten it up. Street Fight is for those that like a hoppy IPA. I had sips of a few others that were pretty good. Uncle Willy had a BBQ truck outside for food. A couple of TVs inside. Right near the Yale Boat House / Osborndale State Park. I'll be back. I was a bit surprised that such a new brewery had the recipes down to brew a variety of good tasting beers in volume.
