A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is light - modestly hazy straw-yellow with a wisp of white head on top.

S: Not really a good nose - reminds me of an old pilsner, with Noble hops. Think grassy, primarily, with a bit of the "wet cardboard" smell of old lagers.

T: Better than the nose - but barely. Stale crackery malt and grassy hops. Butterscotch makes me wonder if there's some diacetyl here. Hint of lemon at the end; finishes bitter, though with some underlying sweetness.

M: Syrupy, though with some fine carbonation present as well.

O: This one was given to me by a friend who lives near the brewery. Can't help but wondering if this can has been sitting around for a while. . . . I will likely drain-pour this one shortly, as I'm too old to force down a beer I don't really like.

A: The beer is very hazy light yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dense white head that died down, leaving lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit citrus and peaches are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has stronger flavors of peaches along with notes of grapefruit and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, crisp, and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With the juiciness and light amount of bitterness, I would consider this beer to be a hybrid between an American IPA and a New England IPA.
